Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bamousa: Interested and specialized in structural geology, structural geomorphology, earth tectonics, remote sensing, and satellite visual and radar applications.

 

[ نبذة تاريخية – Brief History ]

ولدت عام 1390 هـ بالمدينة المنورة ونشات بها الى المرحلة المتوسطة ، ثم انتقلت مع اسرتي الى جدة واكملت الدراسة الثانوية والجامعية وعملت فيها ثلاث سنوات ، وعدت بحمد الله الى المدينة المنورة عام 1417. ثم ابتعثت للدارسة عام 1419 هـ وعدت الى المدينة المنورة مرة أخرى نهاية عام 1429 هـ بعد رحلة سفر طويلة .

I was born in 1390 AH in Madinah and grew up in the middle school, then I moved with my family to Jeddah and completed secondary and university studies and worked there for three years. I returned, praise be to God, to Medina in 1417. Then I was sent to study in 1419 AH and returned to Medina again at the end of the year 1429 AH after a long journey.

– تجهيز الرحلات الحقلية تحديد المواقع المناسبة وتهيئة المخيمات والدعم اللوجستي للرحلات منذ عام 1413 هـ .

– Analytical studies of structural geology by virtue of my careful specialization of geological structures such as folds and faults, as well as the tectonic history of the region and tectonic geomorphology, whether by field work or with the help of satellite images.
– Preparing field trips, identifying suitable sites, preparing camps, and logistical support for trips since 1413 AH.
– Evaluating the sites from a geological and archaeological point of view and knowing their suitability for tourism.
– Evaluating the proposed research and research projects and determining the feasibility of them.
– Making detailed geological maps.
– Preparing, working, preparing and participating in workshops, courses and geological scientific symposia.
– Inspecting some geological and geological problems and making quick reports about them.

– Field and sub-microscopic experience of the complex rocks and structures of the Moyen Group and the Guna mix in the Cape Carmel fault belt, North Wales, Anglesey Island, United Kingdom during the period 1426-1429 AH.
– Field experience of rocks and structures of the ancient Black Hills complex in America, South Dakota, during the period 1421-1423 AH.
– Field and sub-microscopic experience of the rocks and structures of the Arabian Shield in different regions of the Kingdom since 1409 AH.
– Work on a sequential, microscopic, and magnetic study of Harrat south of the city since 1440 AH.
– Work on the faults of Najd and their effect on the Arabian Shield, the sedimentary cover, and the harrows, and this includes the analysis of the worms cutters since 1440 AH).
